Surfing: Intermediate Development - Humboldt (3 hours)

About the class:
Now that you know about ocean safety, can catch whitewater, and stand up, you are ready for the next level! This class will teach you how to navigate the surf line, catching waves as they break. The Intermediate Development course is designed to increase your comfortability with the ocean, teach you how to carve, and strengthen your surf abilities. Northern California is renowned for its advanced surfing locations; get outdoors with Pacific Outfitters and ride some waves!
Our intermediate development surf class is designed to improve the skills and strategies of surfers of all ages. Whether you're a developing surfer who has taken our fundamentals class and is looking to improve on the basics or learn new maneuvers or an advanced surfer with the desire to compete at the highest level, we have the knowledge and experience to get you there.

Meet at Moonstone Beach (Please arrive 10 minutes early to fill out paperwork)
Get gear and equipment
Once everyone has their gear we will caravan over to Woodley Island Marina and launch from the public dock
Lesson will be conducted based on student needs
Return to the dock
Meet at Moonstone Beach or prearranged location

From the south: Take 101 North to Trinidad. Take the Westhaven exit. Once you've taken the exit, take a LEFT at the stop sign. The road will come to a "T". Take a LEFT on to Scenic Drive. Stay on that road and you will see Moonstone Beach Road about 100 yards on the RIGHT. Turn RIGHT on Moonstone Beach Road and head all the way down to the beach.
From the North: Take 101 South to the 6th Avenue exit just South of Trinidad. Take the 6th Avenue exit. Once you've taken the exit, take a LEFT at the stop sign. Stay on 6th Avenue until you get to Westhaven Drive, then make a RIGHT. The road will take you back over the freeway toward the beach. The road will end at Scenic Drive. Take a LEFT on to Scenic Drive and Moonstone Beach Road will be on your right. Take Moonstone Beach Road all the way down to the beach.

Our area can sometimes be a dynamic and unpredictable environment. All programs are dependent upon specific weather conditions and may need to be rescheduled or cancelled due to these factors. Pacific Outfitters reserves the right to make any changes to the scheduling of a class or program. In order to keep our programs affordable, a minimum number of participants may be required. If we are unable to fill a program to a minimum level of participation, we reserve the right to cancel the program. A full refund will be provided in the event of a cancelled or rescheduled activity (upon request for a rescheduled event). Please let us know of any changes in your schedule as well. We ask for at least a 48 hour notice for any cancellations or changes in your reservation. Just give us a call at (844) 926-6566.
